This was totally new for the hosts and a new challenge for players from all over the world. “This competition is the greatest thing we have done in the last few months. We believe that there is a huge market for that. We are definitely going to repeat that in the near future”, Tilman explains.

The big winner from a smaller Las Vegas online slots cup which had been held in the beginning of April was Gabrielle Miller from Columbus, Ohio. She won the amazing amount of $75,000. “I cannot believe how easy it was to win”, she cries excitedly. The structure for the tournament was arranged for one on one action. The participants won with each round they played more money. The top three places took each the minimum amount of $20,000 home and even all the players of the top 100 won at least $100. “That is the reason why these tournaments are so popular. Even those players who do not reach the top 10 will win something”, Tilman states.

The gambling industry in Las Vegas and other cities has been tussling since it was greatly affected by the recession. Especially the United Stated suffered from the economic downfall in the last year but is now steadily recovering.
